You can check this out by flipping the widget over, and selecting the '?' button next to the 'Done' button in the lower-right corner. This button will give you some basic instructions on how to get started with AppButton. When you first use this widget the first thing you should do is flip it over by clicking the small 'i' button. Add applications to the list by typing their names in the 'Application Name' field. A menu will appear with all apps that match what you've typed so far. Click the app you would like to add. Move an app up with the up arrow button. Likewise, move an app down with the down arrow. Use the '-' button to remove an application. There are also several other options available on the back of the widget under the General tab. To open an application, simply click in the middle of the front side of the widget. A pull-down menu will appear with all your applications in it. Select the one you want to open; Dashboard will disappear and open the application for you. To create a group, go to the Groups tab in the preferences. Enter the name of the group you would like to create and click the '+' button. To put applications into a group, select that group from the Groups pull-down menu above the applications list, then add, move, or remove applications in that group. Move a group up or down with the arrow buttons located next to the groups list in the Groups tab. AppButton has the ability to search on the front size. Click the right arrow button above the 'i' button to show the search bar. Type in the application or widget you are looking for, and click on the one you want to open. If the application you want to open appears on top, you can simply hit the 'enter' key to open it. If you want to add an application that appears in this list to your saved list, simply click the add button. A drop down menu will appear where you select what group to add it to. To hide the search bar, simply click on the left arrow button that is now in place of the right one. An even easier way to add an application is by dragging it from the Finder and dropping it onto AppButton. #### Update Log ##### 1.1 Sunday, September 23, 2007 - Bug fixes. - All new look. ##### 1.0 Monday, July 24, 2006 - Minor bug fixes. - Drag-and-drop application addition. - One-point-oh! ##### 1.0 RC1 Thurday, July 13, 2006 - Minor bug fixes. - Release Candidate 1. ##### B05 Sunday, June 25, 2006 - Sorting by usage. - WAS. - Enter opens top app. - Front-side adding capability. - Bug B04-01 (doesn't properly remove groups) fixed. - Bug B03-02 (moving groups causes difficulties) fixed. - Final beta. ##### B04 Tuesday, May 23, 2006 - Front-side search bar. - Removed update checker. - Bug B03-01 (update checker issues) fixed. - Greatly enhanced speed. ##### B03 Friday, April 21, 2006 - Groups functionality. - Revamped preferences. - Bug B02-01 (Widget opening closes dashboard) fixed. - Bug A02-01 (GarageBand = "YES") fixed... finally. - Silver theme and improved graphics. - Improved support system. ##### B02 Sunday, March 19, 2006 - Some speed improvements. - Bug B01-01 (English only) somewhat resolved (see beta notes). - Bug B01-02 (App and widget) fixed. - Limited localization. - Update checker. - Slightly modified layout of preferences. - Disabled debug output. - Included readme. ##### B01 Friday, February 17, 2006 - Under-the-hood improvements. - Bug A03-01 (Shortened names) fixed. - Sorting system. - Remembers selected app while sorting. ##### A03 Thursday, February 02, 2006 - Friendlier adding system. - Bug A01-03 (Doesn't work with MS Office, some games) fixed. - Bug A01-01 fixed through the new adding system. ##### A02 Thursday, January 26, 2006 - Bug A01-02 (apps only add on refresh) fixed. - Checks for duplicate apps. - Can now remove apps. ##### A01 Thursday, January 19, 2006 - Basic functionality. - Themes.
