CharacterPal Support

What on earth does something like "&xF8FF;" mean?

That is the code for a special character in HTML. These are included for web developers- if you're trying to type out keystroekes, they won't help you.

What is a keyboard layout?

Keyboards can be laid out in different ways. Almost all countries have at least a slightly different layout from the rest. This is why we support ten keyboard layouts in CharacterPal.

What are URL Escape codes?

The URL Escape codes are thing that go into URLs to substitute for characters that aren't supposed to be there.

Why do you have different fonts?

Why not? If we were boring, and only allowed one typeface, people would ask why we didn't more. No, really.

The drag-and-drop copies keyboard combinations, not the combo itself! Grrr!

We know it's frustrating- this is a workaround to a bug we're working on fixing ASAP, so hold tight for now!

It broke!

Oh no! Try reinstalling the widget from http://www.tacowidgets.com/widgets/characterpal/index.html. If this doesn't fix it, contact us at http://www.tacowidgets.com/home/contact.html.
