The Company

Taco Widgets is a group of Mac software developers based in Boulder, Colorado and St. Albans, England. Founded in 2005 by Galen Winey, Austin Heller and Mason Sklar, we strive to develop the very best Dashboard and Yahoo Widgets, aiming to make them easy, intuitive, and maybe even fun.

Galen is the chief developer at Taco Widgets. He takes care of all the engineering at Taco Widgets and manages the website. Galen also works with the others on designing the interfaces and hashing out whatever new ideas may be in the pipeline.

Galen founded Taco Widgets with Austin Heller and Mason Sklar in 2005.

Austin is the creative force behind Taco Widgets, taking care of the graphics you see in the software and the website, as well as managing the website when Galen is too busy working on our next big thing. He also works with the group developing the user interfaces for our widgets and pitches ideas that, with enough debate, will start the path to real products.

Mason Sklar
Co-Founder, Support

Mason handles the support end at Taco Widgets, providing help to our fine users and acknowledging those who make a contribution. He also works with the group developing the software user interfaces, as well as contributing ideas that will (hopefully) become new features.
